the electronic and security industry since 1980 and is considered a premier subject
matter expert relating to the integration of Electronic Physical Security Systems.
Mr. Schwind’s industry expertise and leadership role in the Company
has allowed him to steer the direction of White Sand Security in becoming an
elite Physical Security firm in the following areas:
- Providing strategic planning, gathering and defining user-system requirements;
assemble, develop, review for approval project-system CONOPS; compile technical
and layman narrative proposals, statements of work; draft to final design narratives
with engineering drawing over-site; provide budgets and pricing; prepares written
and oral presentations.
- Knowledgeable in general contracting and trade coordination and support. Effective
and efficient response to project, construction and engineering change orders
and change order processing.
- Projects designed using leading-edge COTS and GOTS future-proof products. Efforts
and involvement follow the entire project life-cycle including inspection,
trouble-shooting, resolution, acceptance, maintenance and de-commissioning
for new and existing facilities.
- Comprehensive expertise in Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Access Control
Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Emergency Call/Communication
System (ECS), Command Center ergonomics, function and layout. Strong base that
includes network design, chem-bio-radiation interfaces, magnetometer, x-ray,
landscape, hardscape, barrier, bollard, building, blast and lighting applications
and layout.
- Design considerations that utilize best practices including the latest experience
with similar efforts and technologies that exceed, meet and/or provide “lessons
learned” input.
- Support and response that is sensitive to environment, field-support, time,
budgets and projected risk concerns.
- Provide regular, application specific, product technology testing, evaluation
and assessment services. Develops and assists in threat and vulnerability surveys
and assessments.
